About the client

The REITE Club is one of Ontario's leading real estate companies. They provide real estate training and education through events, weekly podcasts, blogging, webinars and training videos. They approached us to build a custom social network tailored to the real estate market.

Challenges

  • Create a unique proposition and competitive point of difference for The REITE Club within the hyper-competitive real estate industry
  • Develop systems for proprietary media ownership
  • Develop a minimum viable product (MVP) efficiently and cost effectively, while delivering the most value to consumers.
  • Solutions

  • The goal of the app is to bring all Real estate investors together from around the world to share ideas and grow their business. We achieved this by creating forums, a business directory, a video sharing system, a podcast player, in-app chat systems, and a newsfeed similar to Facebook's newsfeed where users can share what's on their mind.
  • We leveraged the AWS cloud infrastructure to cheaply manage all media (videos, images, audio) content produced by the client and their users.
  • We decided to incrementally build out the whole vision for the app in other not to delay time-to-market. We were still able to put out an MVP that the end users loved with almost all the core features functional from day-one.
  • Results
